Profile

A product of the 2006 U-19 World Cup team, Pollard impressed everyone with a scintillating century (126) on his first class debut. His fortune catapulted when he was named in West Indies’ 15-member squad for the 2007 World Cup.

Considered by many as the batsman who can fill mighty hitter Ricardo Powell’s shoes, Pollard has a long way ahead. He has already impressed many with his big-hitting ability and as a talented medium pace bowler, Pollard could play a central role in the West Indies side in the coming years.
