Chris Gayle is a soft-spoken hard-hitting opening batsman from Jamaica who holds the capability to tear apart any attack in the world. He is tall and imposing at the crease and his attacking approach is his greatest weapon. His best innings so far is his thumping 317 runs in a Test match at Antigua against South Africa.
Gayle possesses good leadership skills as he led West Indies to an ODI series win in England and their first Test win in South Africa. Gayle is also a handy bowler with his off-spinners.
