Being the first South African of Indian descent to reach the national squad, Hashim Amla is a talented middle-order batsman. With cool temperament and excellent stroke-play, Amla is batsman with a hunger for big score. His prolific run-scoring at U-19 and domestic level, helped him earned a call in the national side.
He has been a regular feature in the Proteas Test squad for past couple of years. With potential leadership skills, he is a future candidate to become South Africa’s skipper.
