Daniel Vettori is unarguably the best left-arm spinner to play cricket in contemporary era. At a tender age of 18, he became the youngest man to play Test cricket for New Zealand. After Hadlee and Cairns, he is the third Kiwi bowler to take 200 wickets in Test cricket.
Known for his pinpoint accuracy, the Auckland born is a tough bowler to get runs off. After the 2007 World Cup, he was handed the captaincy of the Test and ODI team. Vettori is also a very useful batsman down the order with two Test centuries to his name.
