After the retirement of Adam Parore, Brendon McCullum has done a great job as the wicketkeeper-batsman of the New Zealand team. The Kiwi gloveman is a great thinker of the game and believes in putting pressure on the opposition either with the willow or his wicket-keeping skills. He enjoyed immediate success at the Test level by playing some crucial knocks batting at different positions in the team.

He has an aggressive and attacking attitude which helps him dominate bowlers. Another great ability the Kiwi wicketkeeper possesses is to deliver with the bat under pressure situations. No matter what may be the situation, the Dunedin-born cricketer knows only one style and that is to clobber the opposition bowling department. Behind the stumps, McCullum is known for his lightning glove work and smart instincts.

His recent form in one-day matches has been more than impressive. McCullum's stint as the Kiwi opener has been successful as he makes excellent use of the fielding restrictions. With his subtle and slick thinking brain, it won't come as a surprise if Brendon leads the Black Caps in the near future.
