With the ability to bowl at a pace of 140 kph, tall Australian seamer Ben Hilfenhaus is a valuable fast bowling prospect. It has been a swift ride for the Tasmanian pacer as he made his debut for Australia within only two years of domestic cricket and impressed one and all in his debut ODI against New Zealand. The strongly-built fast bowler can bowl out-and-out quick and trouble the best of the batsmen with quick short deliveries. He has been in the scheme of things for Australia and a consistent performance at the domestic level helped him feature in the national side. Australia is very fortunate to have a strong bench strength and Hilfenhaus has been very impressive. The 26-year-old's action has always produced natural outswing, and he loves to bowl stump to stump. He made his Test debut in the new-generation attack that triumphed in South Africa in 2009 and seems to improve with every outing.
