Rift in Team India over Mishra’s exclusion
The rift story is again raising its ugly head in the Indian team.
Apparently, leg spinner Amit Mishra, who had a seven-wicket match haul and an impressive half-century to his credit in the Chittagong Test, was excluded from the playing XI of the Dhaka Test at the last minute. He was replaced by left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha.
According to sources, captain MS Dhoni and vice-captain Virender Sehwag had disagreement over inclusion of Ojha in place of Amit Mishra, who had done rather well in the last Test.
It is believed that Team India is divided into Dhoni and Sehwag camps. And all the players from Delhi are backing Sehwag in this row.
