A clinical performance by the Mumbai Indians against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 8 has showcased some early trends at IPL 4. The Mumbai Indians look like a good all round team with the captain Sachin Tendulkar looking in great touch. Is Mumbai Indians, the best looking team so far in the IPL or does a Chennai Super Kings under Dhoni and Kolkata Knight Riders under Gautam Gambhir look more menacing.

Yuvraj Singh the captain of Pune Warriors said “In a format like this, it’s very important to gel as a team. Players come from different countries, with different mindsets and ideas. You need certain amount of time to settle as a unit and understand each other ”.

Yuvraj has started on a winning note but Sehwag's Daredevils are struggling . They have lost the first two games, to Mumbai and Royals respectively. After the loss to the Royals, Sehwag said "The top order, including myself, is not firing. And the likes of Unmukt Chand who have a role of giving stability to batting were too not been able to play out 15 overs”.

Sehwag has struggled but his opening partner for India, Tendulkar has had a happy run. Sachin Tendulkar after the win against the Challengers doesn't want his team to be complacent. He said "We have had a good beginning and we have to maintain the consistency as there is still a long way to go."
