Cometh the hour, cometh the man!! What a brilliant counter attack by Dravid.. This must surely rate high on his list, simply for the situation we were in and the fluency with which he batted.. And our Captain was awesome in his own right.. Kudos to the Champs..

Its true to Dravid's character. He has seldom failed in such situations. Today's knock should mouthshut his critics who feel he is a grafter.
Its just the beginning of Dhoni. Watch out for many more.
Well-done India - scoring briskly at the rate of 4+, dispite of being at one stage 32/4.
Now its left to the bowlers to look for a win.

Rahul Dravid has proved it time and again..........(as always) that CLASS IS PERMANENT WHILE FORM IS TEMPORARY.

He i definitely the backbone of Team India batting as far as test matches are concerned.

However, it is really necessary to focus attention on the performance (or the lack of it) of Virendra Sehwag. He has carried his (recently concluded) ODI form into the test series.

The team 'think-tank, at some point of time, will have to 'pull the string' and put into Sehwag's head that all the deliveries CANNOT be sent over the ropes. The bowlers are to be respected and each and every should be given its due.

Well, earlier the better....................!

Hahaha. Why are u making joke of urself all the time dude? It was only you, who didn’t want Rahul in the team last year. Can u recall or Howizzat Sir has to come to recall those moments. And today when he succeeded, u started to praise him. It can happen in India only. hahaha

Rightly said Alok,

I somehow don't quite understand Subrambi's thinking,at times he is technically correct & at more times his thinking is aweful, pessimistic, contradicting & simply USELESS...!!!

dere is nothing 2 say abt dis topic coz he has proved this again n again with his willo.in d ongoing match, india was 32/4.frm den no 1 but rahul can save india.he not only save d wickets but also score runs in d 1 day cricket style.uv n dhoni supported him but he is d hero.so THE ROCK-SOLID WALL save india from foreign attack(sri lankan bowllers. i'm sure dat he will play another gud knock in d 2nd innings also.
so hats off 2 d WALL.

I am always believe in that.

The Great Indian Batsmen he is. No doubt in that. But we have to remember that it is a Sportive game. We can not assume that every time he will be the wall.We can go for the alternatives as well.

Regards,
Hemanth

I don't think that Dravid is dependable batsman for India. And no world class team should think like that. This is one of the rare occasions where he was needed to play a long innings.Indian openers should be more careful whike they bat in the secind innings of this test vs srilanka. I think this test match will end in a draw
