Profile

Timysen Maruma is a Zimbabwean international cricketer. He is a bowler – an off spinner – who can bat a bit, but is slowly improving on his batting to be an all rounder in the making. In 2008, he scored his maiden first class half century (71) against a strong Pakistani representative team. He is a product of Harare's Churchill High School and Takashinga Club, and one of the most outstanding wicket-takers in the Logan Cup, and combining with Prosper Utseya to win the Cup.

He has shown to have remarkable stamina and intensity in bowling long spells in the competition, and his senior teammates feared he would break down. As a lower order batsman, he loves to smack the ball to all parts of the ground. He was a part of he Zimbabwean squad in the World T20, but did not play a single match.
