Miller is a West Indian cricketer and has had a fantastic 2007-08 first class domestic season with the label of leading wicket-taker especially his performance in Carib Beer Challenge final where he picked five-for hauls leading Jamaica to the title. Miller earned a place in the national squad quite late as per expectations. He made his debut for the national team against Australia on July 4, 2008 after the West Indies were in dire straits with the loss of Jerome Taylor and three consecutive losses in five-match ODI series. In his first ODI he took one wicket and bowled one maiden though overall a little expensive and in his second appearance he bowled with a disciplined economy rate of 3.80.
