This left-arm spinner is the first bowler from the South Indian city of Hyderabad to have made a debut for India after Venkatapahy Raju. Known for his ability to flight the kookaburra, this young tweaker is a thinking cricketer who has fabulous first class statistics to show for it. His great performances at the domestic circuit lead to his selection into the Deccan Chargers outfit at the IPL. He finished the inaugural T20 tournament with 11 wickets to his name. Standing out with his form despite being in a team that failed to make a mark in the tournament, Ojha was spotted by the national selectors who handed him his blue Jersey for India's tour of Bangladesh and the 2008 Asia Cup that followed. He played his debut game against Bangladesh in the second of those two tournaments and he finished with impressive figures of 2 for 43
