Mumbai: The low pressure centre in the Arabian Sea has brought ‘depression’ at the DY Patil Stadium. Soaked in unrelenting rain, it wears a deserted look. Even at 2 pm there is no trace of any spectator at the stadium.

The rain has threatened to spoil the show though officials are yet to call off the match. Obviously, the match will not start at the scheduled hour of 2.30pm. The two umpires will make an inspection of the ground situation at five pm and take the final decision of whether to go ahead with a truncated match or call it off.

Though by the looks of it, chances of even a truncated match appears to be remote. As per the meteorological department, the cyclone is heading towards Mumbai and is likely to pick up pace around 4pm.
