Gambhir out as Ind bowl at Mohali

In game four of the seven match ODI series between India and Australia, India have won the toss and have elected to field first on the hard Mohali track. MS Dhoni reckoned the surface will offer help to pacers and with heavy dew expected in the evening, bowling could be difficult in the second innings.

Australian captain Ricky Ponting, though, was happy to have a bat first on the track that looks a batting beauty.

The Mohali pitch is expected to play perfectly during the course of the game. Its rock-hard nature will make it more than conducive for batting. The minor cracks on the surface will bring a smile on the faces of the fast bowlers as well. The dew is expected to be a factor in the second half of the match.

After plaguing the Aussie camp, injuries have now visited the Indian team as well. Gautam Gambhir, who got hit on his neck in the third ODI with a Ponting pull-shot, has been replaced by Virat Kohli whereas Sehwag is fit to play.

Australia have decided to go with opener Shaun Marsh in place of Adam Voges. This means, Ponting will bat at his customary No.3 position after opening the innings in the third ODI.
