Training camp for India probables soon

Mumbai: After resting and ‘Hummer shopping’, it’s time for Indian players to get into a huddle just ahead of the busy season.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will soon be organizing a training camp for the Indian probables to put them through their paces.

“Yes, we are planning a training camp for the Indian probables soon ahead of the coming season. In a day or two we’ll announce about the camp and the venue where it will be held,” said Prof. Ratnakar Shetty, chief administrative officer of the BCCI.

India will begin the forthcoming season with a tri-nation series in Sri Lanka, with New Zealand as the third country participating in the tournament, in September. It will soon be followed by the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa. In October, India will return home to play against Australia in a seven-ODI series.
