Hyderabad: Australian captain Ricky Ponting has said he is convinced with the security that has been provided to his team, and did not have any apprehensions about playing in India.

Speaking to the media for the first time since his arrival in India last week, Ponting said, "There is no apprehension about the security."

He also explained that the team management was constantly in touch with Cricket Australia's security advisors, and that they would be following their advice.

Both Cricket Australia and the BCCI have said the Australia's four-Test series in India will go on as per schedule, despite the recent bomb blasts in New Delhi.

Stuart Clark, the Australian fast bowler, recently expressed concerns about the blasts in India. Referring to Delhi, he had said he was worried that he would be traveling to Delhi, where such ghastly incidents had happened in the last few days.
