New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday ruled out any changes to the tour itinerary for Australia's forthcoming four-Test series.

A low intensity blast in the national capital on Saturday which left one person dead and several others injured left open to speculation if the Australians would abandon the tour citing security concerns.

However, the Australian team's media manager on Saturday revealed that he was waiting to hear from Cricket Australia (CA) about future course of action to be taken in the wake of the recent blast.

Agency reports quoted Rajiv Shukla, a BCCI official, as saying, "The Australians have not raised the issue of security or sought any changes in the tour itinerary with the Indian board.

"To be fair to Cricket Australia or the team management, now in Jaipur, they did not complain or seek any assurance from the Board on the security steps in place," Shukla said.

"Still, the security can be beefed up to a satisfactory level, but no venues will be changed," he added.

The home ministry of the Indian government has sent out an advisory to all states and union territories where Australia will be playing to beef up their security arrangements.

The first Test starts at Bangalore on October 9, following which Australia will also play Tests at Nagpur, Mohali and Delhi.
