Bhubhaneshwar: BCCI secretary N Srinivasan on Thursday confirmed that the remaining two one-day internationals of the seven-match one-day series against England had been "postponed" and expressed hope that England would come back to India in a couple of weeks time to play the two Test matches, scheduled for December 11 and 19.

Srinivasan held meetings with the England team management on Thursday morning before arriving at this decision.

The sixth one-day international was scheduled to be played at Guwahati on November 29 and the final one-day international at New Delhi on December 2.

Further, Srinivasan also said that the governing body of the Champions League - the Twenty20 tournament involving teams from Australia, India, England, Pakistan and South Africa - was locked in discussions, and an announcement about the future of the tournament would be made in due course.

Although the BCCI is maintaining that the two ODIs have been postponed, Cricket Nirvana has learnt that the England team is expected to fly back home on Friday.

A series of terror attacks in the financial capital of India, Mumbai, which took the lives of over 100 people and injuring close to 200, has thrown the England tour of India and the Champions League tournament into jeopardy.
