Johannesburg: South Africa will get an additional practice game on their tour of Australia, thanks to the postponement of the Champions League Twenty20 tournament caused due to the terror attacks in Mumbai.
The South Africans, who travel to Australia on December 6, were originally scheduled to play a two-day match and three Test matches on the tour, but will now get an additional one-day match to get used to the Australian conditions.
Cricket South Africa chief Gerald Majola thanked the Australian cricket board for organising the additional practice match. He said, "I would like to thank Cricket Australia for their co-operation and assistance in this regard."
The first Test is scheduled to begin at Perth on December 17.
