Haryana beat Services by 2 wickets
Una (HP): Leg-spinner Amit Mishra’s five-wicket haul helped Haryana defeat Services by two wickets in the North Zone Ranji Trophy One-day tournament at the Jawahar school ground, on Thursday.
Batting first, Services were dismissed for 181 in 49.3 overs. Sarabjit Singh was the highest scorer with 41.
Mishra claimed five wickets for 44 runs while Joginder Sharma bagged three conceding 27 runs.
In reply, Dhruv Singh’s unbeaten 68 and Joginder Singh’s 38 helped Haryana reach the target for the loss of eight wickets in 45.4 overs.
For Services, Narinder was the pick of the bowler claiming three wickets for 30 runs while Arun Sharma bagged two for 29.
